We Walk Because They Walk

On Sunday October 16th 32 CROP walkers from Cokesbury donned their CROP Walk t-shirts and walked in the Charlotte CROP Hunger Walk… the largest CROP Walk in the nation… and helped raise awareness and $260,000 in the fight against hunger!  This diverse group of walkers included children, youth, UMAR residents, and adults.  Many were seasoned walkers but there were also first time walkers.   And while most walkers were Cokesbury members the group also included friends of Cokesbury.  We are proud of our walkers and the difference they made in the fight against hunger!  For more information about the Charlotte CROP Hunger Walk visit their web site at www.CharlotteCropWalk.org.
